With a bit error rate of 1 x 10 power 19 for the LTO-8 versus 1 x 10 power 15 for SATA Enterprise hard drives. This is a difference in reliability of four orders of magnitude, that is, tapes are 10,000 times more reliable than SATA Enterprise hard drives.
